Hey guys. Does anyone want to do a nice easy Ortega run and grab some breakfast down by the lake on Saturday morning? I know most of you are doing the Hangover run on New Year's day, but I can't make that run due to work so this is my only opportunity to drive. I haven't decided which car I want to drive yet.
![]() So, what do you think? |

How 'bout Ford PAG and then a run? Or, is that too late?

Thanks for the Private messages guys. It looks like I picked a bad day for everyone. Unfortunately Sunday I'll be getting up at 4 AM for a two day trip that has me working on New Years Eve and Day.
I can make the Saturday Ford PAG show though, so I'll see some of you there. |

How about this - Milt suggested we meet at the show and the maybe take a drive afterward. What do you think about that? At least we can meet up at the show, drink coffee and chit chat while looking at beautiful cars and if we still feel like driving later, then the option is open.

Yea, I read one of your posts. You mentioned that you've got 225's in front and 245's in back. Cool. How'd you manage to fit those tires under your LOOOOOOW car, Patrick?

It's not so low anymore... Still playin with the ride height... I'm at about 24.75 for front & rear... Might raise the front another ~.25"...
Definitely a different look with 8&9's!!

Scott,
Saturday sounds like a good possibility. Meeting at the Ford facility would be a good start..........

Saturday...
For anyone who hasn't been to the Ford PAG hosted "Cars & Coffee" gathering, it's great way to see some awesome cars of all types and socialize with one's friends. Here's the address: Ford PAG Mazda Campus 7905 Gateway Blvd. Irvine, Ca. 92618 It runs from 7 to 9 AM but most cars are there well before then, so if I were you, I'd show up a bit early. Personally, I'm planning to get there around 6:45. See you there. ![]() |

Sorry, work calls. I can't make it. And I was the one that diverted this to Ford. Sorry again.
As a suggestion, I would encourage the guys that want to take off and drive to meet in the general public parking section around the corner from the display parking. Why? I don't know, just sounds like less trouble. I will get down to this thing eventually. I'm making it a NY resolution. BTW, I'm forgoing the TRE NYD run to do the benchracing.com run in OC. So, maybe 2 runs in 2 days was too much anyway. Anyone else gonna be on the "Kennel" run? http://www.bench-racing.com/html/news.html Last edited by milt; 12-29-2006 at 05:25 PM.. |

TOO RUF,
Call me on my cell tomorrow. I'll PM you with the number right now. On a side note, I'm bringing the '84 tomorrow. We (me and the car) had a nice 40 mile drive up and down the Coast Highway today with the top down - and it was good. ![]() Milt, sorry that you can't make it tomorrow. There will be other Saturdays, however. ![]() Last edited by 450knotOffice; 12-29-2006 at 05:35 PM.. |
