Gauge Project Gone Bad... or good
Speaking of the steering wheel post, I got an aluminum gauge kit to match my steering wheel. I'm not a huge fan of these but my gauges were a little corroded so I was going to need new ones anyway. Well the kit did not fit and I really screwed up my fuel gauge trying to make it work. I knicked and dinged the crap out of it. Well I was now sure I needed new gauges. But, while I was sitting around looking at the mess, I got out my sandpaper and polishing stuff and rubbed out that gauge and the rest of them. I did not have to take them apart and they turned out real nice. Just had to be careful not to touch the glass. Took about an hour a gauge, looks really good. It makes the Momo feel more right at home and looks lots better than I had expected. I'll post some pics if anybody is interested.
