powder coat wrinkle finish

Anyone like this finish on the valve covers and maybe the tensioner covers? I am going to do a engine refresh and am considering the options for a nice clean and OE look. The car in this photo uses a powder coat in wrinkle finish which I think looks great. This car is far from stock but the finish looks OE. I may even do the intake runners.

What kind of car is that? Looks like a five cylinder, and what an enormous turbo, so I am guessing an Audi?

As for the powder coat wrinkle finish, its as nice as any, I guess. So long as you like it.

Yeah, the car started life as a 1989 80 quattro audi. It has a 20 valve engine from a early 90's s4. He makes 600 wheel hp with that monster turbo.

I like it. But I don't think it will clean up too well if it gets dirty.
