I've got an 82SC that I bought six months ago. PO stated he had upgraded headlights. I assumed they were H4's as H1's were NLA. Come to find out when needing to replace a bulb, they are H1's. So if you can get them, yes they will fit. Not to hijack a post, but does anyone know the best method for aiming the dually adjustable H1's

Yes H1's will fit your car. I know because I bought my 78 sc with them on it in 1990. They use two bulbs in each housing, so you need to have the high beam and low beam individually adjusted. And they are very expensive now from what I have been hearing lately. Depending on what you have now, you may have to change the connecting plug that goes into the back of the housing.

My car started out a Euro 78SC Targa. Luckily for me, the H1's that were OEM for the P-car are still in it today. Someone got around that with the federalization person.
There are a couple of good threads that discuss how to align H1's properly. Make sure to lube the adjustment linkage. -Matt
