Pomona Swap Meet
Hey all-
I haven't hit the Pomona Swap Meet before but may . . . what's it all about? Good Pcar stuff? And, if so, how early to get there for the good stuff? Is it generally highly attented by Pelicanites/heads?

There are recent posts on the subject.
Not much the last time I went a few months ago. Better parts and selection on this website.

Not much there last time I went (probably a year ago). Worth a visit just for kicks, but not much p-car stuff at all. I'm not sure how much the vendors or stuff for sale varies from event to event, so maybe I just got an off day for good stuff.

I have to agree with the guys. I went a few times last fall, mainly looking for parts for my nephew's rod. There was little if any Porsche stuff, a few miscellaneous fuchs, used 996 bumper covers, seats etc. I haven't been really disappointed because it has been like that for quite some time(ebay effect). It use to be nirvana when I first came to California in 1990. There are more Porsches in the "for sale" corral than parts, and we always get there just about when they open. If you've never been, it's fun from an automotive garage saling perspective. Lots of interesting parts, new and used, and shop equipment. You should go at least once, just don't expect to find any Porsche deals.
I think this is one case where East Coaster's can hang Hershey over our heads
