3.6 Conversion Oil Hoses

I am replacing the front and rear oil cooler hoses. My question is if the hose that comes from the engine [to the thermostat]needed to be altered in any way.
The car is/was a 3.2, early '89 Carrera that had a 3.6 '97 Carrera engine installed.
The reason for the question is that the mechanic that did the conversion is away on vacation and I would like to order all of the hoses at the same time.
Thanks again,
Drums
