Paint code help
Can anyone help with the factory paint code for Oak Green Metallic? My newly aquired '77 is in the paint shop being readied for a complete respray. I've done a bunch of searches and the only paint code number I could find was on a poorly scanned color chart for 1977. The code was 911.095.903.80. I'm fairly certain the all the numbers are correct except for the last two (80) couldn't 100% tell if it was 80 or 30. Where's the paint code tag located? My paint guy said he couldn't find it, I'm thinking it's on the front door jam? Thanks, Jon

Jon:
Look for 22L, 265, or Y4. Paintscratch.com, the normal resource, seems to have pulled Porsche paints... I used this link: http://www.911c1.de/porsche/Technik/farben/farbcode_gruen.htm Hope it helps??? |
Oh...and the paint code is on the driver's door jamb, against the front fender.

Thanks.

Below is what the BASF/Glasurit site offers.
Use this search term in the "View colors from selected manufacturers" section of the Formula Lookup page: OAK GREEN MET For your year 265 (as mentioned above) seems to be the ticket. https://www.basfrefinish.com/cgi-bin/capbsm/java/Sitelet.do?BV_SessionID=@@@@0955645626.1168024511@ @@@&BV_EngineID=cccfaddjklffejlcefecgefdgjhdfmn.0& action=ToolsColorToolsFormulaRet&itemParentName=Fo rmula%20Lookup&itemName=Formula%20Lookup&itemParen tName=Formula_|_Lookup&itemName= http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1168025636.jpg |
Exactly what I was looking for. Very much appreciated.
