Targa top

After two attempts at fitting my targa skin I am still not satisfied. The second is better than the first...But I want to have it done professionally. So it is perfect.
Any suggestions on someone in the Los Angeles area. Also if it is done by a pro is expecting it to be perfect asking to much.
Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with a pro in L.A., but I'd like to hear more about your experience as I'm going to try it soon myself. What was the problem? Where did you get your materials? What glue did you use? Most of the DIY's I've read about sounded like they went pretty well. Thanks, Eric

I just recovered my top and everything went smooth. I even replaced the webbing and burlap and foam. There is a link you can go to and get some good information and pictures. I will look it up and send it to you.

In addition to the web site that Vintagebus has you are welcome to check out my site as well.

This is a very easy project to do yourself. The key is to put the cover on with the arms released ! Let the cover material get good and warm (hot is better) and install it with the arms in the released position and after installing the rain gutters , pop out the arms and you will have a very tight fitting top.

im in the process of redoing my targa top also .I need to replace the burlap and the foam, but the foam is 1/8"not 1/4".That is where im having the problem i can`t seem to find the foam and when i had taken a sample of the burlap to a fabericshop they informed me that it was not burlap, looks like burlap but is made out of something else.so if i want what was on there what should i do ?any suggestions. thanks
