basic zenith carb adjustment.
I can visibly see fuel shooting out of three cylinders when i rev my engine. and the engine is resistant to rev past about 2200 rpm. I'm sure its rich on three cylinders, but i don't know what screw does what on the carbs, and i cant find a diagram explaining it. I'm new to carbs completely. i plan to have the carb adjusted professionally. but i need to get it running well enough to get it there first. can some tell me what screw will lean out the carb?

I have had problems getting mine tuned as well. Have to tow the car two hours away to get it done. Nobody does carbs here anymore. There should be someone that we could ship them to to have them tuned.

The Haynes manual covers it pretty well. At least I was able to tune mine using it.

#79 is the auxilary enrichment circuit....I've seen cars with them removed and in some cases the holes JB welded up. I believe it's for emmision control, but mine never did pass emmisions and I still have it. Too scared to take it off for fear of messing up something. If it ain't broke.....

These are great carbs once they are set up. Great throttle response. Check the injection nozzles (sp???) they will leak/drip fuel.
