Anyone have Cobra Misano seats?
Does anyone in Northern California have Cobra Misano seats I might have a chance to sit in? They look like the perfect seat for me, but I'd like to sit in them before I buy them.

Moses,
I'm in Florida, so I'm not much help there, but I have the Cobra Misano AL w/black Alcantara and they work very well for me. The fit is very comfortable, but firm and they work great at the track. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Regards, Dave ![]() ![]()

Thanks, Dave!
How big are you? How tough was the install? Can you still move the seat all the way back? Do you sit higher/lower than stock? Which sliders did you use? Thanks again!

Hi Moses,
I have been following your threads on your slide down the slippery slope of DE's. I am in the same boat. One thing you might want to consider is the new PCA ruling that is being talked about that will ban two piece, folding seats from DE's if you plan on using 5 or 6 point harness's. No problem with them if you use the stock, 3 point harness. I bought seats late last fall and now am in a quandry about using them. For what it is worth, I am looking at Cobra's also but the shell version. Joe

I was just looking at them on line & in a catalog. They are supposed to be very light wt. but aren't much lighter if any than my old Recaro SE's.
The Cobra's are 13 kg. = 28.6 lbs. My Recaro's are 28.5 lbs. w/o the sliders.

Just like a helmet, I'd try on a seat before I bought one.
