Anyone have experience with these garage tiles?
http://www.locktile-usa.com/garages.htm
I got a great deal on them but would use them only if they are at least as good as other products out there. Thanks in advance. |

Before and after
The before and after is impressive. I'd think you would just put them down and see if you like them; unless you have a buyer for your Locktiles and want to buy something else.
Griot's Garage sells this kind of stuff but I think they just re-sell someone else's product line. They are good at creating the impression that they only sell the best available but who knows?

I'm about to place the order to buy them. I do not currently have them in my possession.

Seems the going rate is $4.50 per 1' x 1' tile. Griot's price is the same as Lowes (Flexi-tile by Whirlpool). Does locktile offer "drain tiles" that work together with the solid coin top or diamond pattern tile?

The tiles are 19 5/8" x 19 5/8" and I am getting them for around cost. A friend of a friend, etc. I just received samples and compared to Racedeck they are thinner, more flexible, and larger (Racedeck is 1'x1'). They do not appear to have the drain function, although they do not lay flat. In other words, there is a frame attached to the bottom as opposed to a lineoleum type application. I'm not so sure about the drain function anyway. When I get water on my cement floor it just lays there. How is this drain function going to direct water anywhere? Also, I have heard that Racedeck "crackles" when driving on it. This application doesn't appear to do that.
I decided to order it. I'll post my opinions, along with pics, after I install it. Probably won't be until early spring. |

I have Racedeck in my garage and I am very happy with the product. It does not make any noise when you drive over it and has been very durable.
