What color is this?
Trying to find what the original color of my 1974 coupe was. The PO has painted it blue metallic and a shabby job. Would like to restore to original color. The color code is 358-9-3. Any help is appreciated.
There is no listing in the factory manual for 358, their is a 328 gulf blue or 354 acid blue ??
I know, it's the weirdest thing. I even rechecked the color code stamp, It is 358-9-3. I can't find this listed anywhere as a color by porsche.
Is there a letter after the paint code number, like H or G?
Nope, no letter. This is as mysterious as it gets. How can I have a car with a paint code that is stamped by the factory but no reference to it in any publications?
P-cars are exclusive. Still.
You can order a puple dark white or so, the factory will mix it and spray your car-if you are willing to afford it! But is it really the original colour? Sure? Jens |
Does anyone know a contact at Porsche to find out what color this paint code is? The car was definitely a special order considering all the options and the fact that this paint code is not listed in any reference materials.
