Alternative to MB master cylinder?
From many reports of increased pedal effort needed with the 23mm MB master cylinder, I looked around for an alternative for a planned brake upgrade. Has anyone tried this MC?
![]() It's a 22.2mm dual MC from a VW Corrado. Volume capacity might be adequate, depending on the calipers used, in addition to reduced pedal effort compared with the MB version. The outlet ports are at an angle (factory faces left toward driver's side), and it looks shorter for potentially less crossmember interference. I haven't seen one in person. These are the Mercedes and stock 911 versions: ![]() Sherwood http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars |
