bumperette repair

Anyone know of a good repair method for cuts or gouges in the injection mojded(?) bumperettes?. Casting resin or rubber type RTV perhaps? Or is there a company out there that tackles these things? Thanks, Harry

Harry, I've never seen one that looked great after it was repaired. Your best bet is to be patient and by a used pair - or single off of the forum, ebay etc. Do you need both or just one? I picked up a pair (85 carrera) - so I'll have one good one left. What year do you need?

I just bought a set from another pelicanite, I was just figuring to play with the old ones and see if they might come out OK.

How are the light areas on your old bumper. One of my bumpers is rusted out, I was going to cut a plate out and graft it in but if I had a donor the job may be easer. Are you willing to part with one?
