reference sensor order please please

reference sensor question. I know I've read 25 posts but I can't find one that says which order in the bracket the sensors are. Everyone says put them back how you took them off. Well would have been a good plan.
I know the cylinder head is top which is middle and bottom in the bracket.

The two reference sensors are identical, so it really does not matter where on the bracket (in the engine bay) you put them. If you didn't mate the speed sensor connector and the TDC sensor connect to their mating connectors on the wire harness end, the car won't start. Then you just swap them.

I understand they are the same. I also understand swap them. But where are they suppose to be. This is after a rebuild and 50 things could keep it from starting I want to have all the known issues correct.

Do don't understand the hangup. Does it matter if the TDC sensor or speed sensor is in the third slot or second slot in the engine bay bracket?

It is running so I must have guessed OK. I marked the wires top middle bottem. I wouldn't matter where they wind up either could be in either spot as long the correct wire is connected. Problem is I didn't mark the harness as reference or TDC I just had top middle bottom. Since I had every thing off the car I just didn't know which was which. I just wanted to have it correct so the car would start. But it wouldn't matter in the end. Thanks for the reply.
