Installing the C2 Tail on earlier (85) deck
 

Anyone done this or know how to do it?

I have a C2 tail, tail only no deck. It appears to fit within the grill area except for the A/C condensor. Suggestions, outside of getting a C2 deck?

Can't be done. At least not cost effectively. The grill opening is about 4 inches wider on the C2 tail. The hinges are accordingly wider as well on the C2 making it not a bolt on either. If I were you I'd get the decklid with the hinges and build my own hinge mounts on the under side of the firewall. That's what I did. The decklid shape and latch are the same so the only problem is the mounting for the hinges.
