Winter Storage Rules
I want to store my car in my garage this winter, first time I've done anything like that. Is it as simple as removing the battery and moving the car now and then to avoid flat spots on the tires?? 91' C2 -- I'm in Michigan so it will get cold in the garage. Thanks

Put some extra air in the tires. That will help against flat spots. Also if you want to be really nice to your car change the oil before putting it into storage and again when you start using the car in the spring. Disconnect the battery and start the car maybe once a month. When the car stands idle it will be filled with condense water. This goes both for the exhaust and the interior. So if the garage is cold it's important that sometimes the car gets fully warmed up.

Here is some information on winter storage from the Chesapeake Bay Potomac region. I guess it will depend on how serious you are, and whether you plan on running the car occassionally. Personally I think it is cruel for both the well being of the car and the owner to put your 911 out of commission. That being said , here in washington We get lots of nice days all winter and some places can be like Dantes Inferno. http://www.nordstern.org/PCA_Articles/storage.html
