I converted my SC over to EFI and I'm wondering if I have my distributor vacumn lines installed correctly. There are 2 vacumn lines on the dist. and I assumed for whatever reason that one of the lines ( on the front of the dist. ) needed to be from a source above the throttle plates( throttle body) vs. the line on the back of the pot has to be connected to a vacumn source below the throttle plates( manifold ). Is this correct? I built two vacumn manifolds for this. One of them runs brake booster and one of the dist. vacumn lines and is fed by 2 lines from below the throttle plate. The other manifold has 2 lines feeding it from the throttle bodies and runs the fuel pressure regulator,ECU and the front side of the dist. vacumn pot. I'm chasing a" runs like crap" problem and want to make sure my dist. vacumn lines are installed correctly.
