I recently purchased a full carpet set for $225 from Original Fit Interior. (See December issue of Excellence, pg.188) I selected the Domestic set over the German set which runs about $435. Every piece fits perfect; however, I had to wait 3 weeks for this order. Good luck!

I once ordered a kit from Original Fit but cancelled the order after waiting and calling them for 2 months (no lie). They kept saying they were almost complete with my order (they were very polite). I can't comment on their quality since I cancelled the order.
I did have a good experience with World Upholstery on a previous BMW project. Quality was first rate. John 82 911SC project |

I also purchased a domestic kit from Original Fit Interiors. They were not the fastest but eventually I received my kit. The price was right and the product was excellent. So it just depends how fast you need it and how much you want to pay.

In addition to World Upholstery mentioned above, you could also check out Autos international at http://www.autosintl.com/catalog/
and just for fun, there's my ramblings at http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/Forum3/HTML/003808.html (DIY carpets mentioned near the end of the posting) [This message has been edited by tog (edited 11-16-2000).] |

It's funny it took so long for you guys to get your carpet from Original Fit Interiors I ordered mine for my 84 carrera here in Canada and it arrived within a week. I think they recently moved to California from Oregon maybe they were just in the middle of the move? Have always had good service and the carpets fit great! Matt
