Upgrade heater hose...I like it !
 

I tried a few products to change the heater/blower hose on my SC but didn't really like any of them. Searching the McMaster-Carr web page I found this stuff...it's Stainless steel flex hose. It is a bi-itch to work with and get the radius around the air box but I like the result...

I like it! What's the inside diameter? Does it fit OK at the heat exchangers... if you don't mind, what's the part number at mcmaster?

You can get almost any inside dia. you want..mine is 2"...sold by the foot. If you look more closly at the pic you can see that the ss hose fits into a fitting on some alum. hose from the heat exchanger but it would be neater to go all the way to the exchangers. I still have to do the left side. Part number at Mc Master is 5241-K623.

The real problem is getting it to turn a tighter radius than it wants to. It will cut with a hack saw but will wear out a blade quickly so have several on hand.
