dumb vacuum question.
OK probable a dumb question but I'm trouble shooting and have to ask. When you bridge the test port to set idle does this action bypass any vacuum function? This would be on a 1988 3.2
Thank you for your time, Shawn

I dont believe so...
If you visit http://www.911chips.com/ the whole process is explained in detail along with the reason for jumping the ports. Cheers

I'm trouble shooting a vacuum leak the car runs great with the bridge. So if this bypassed a vacuum source it would help with the trouble shooting.

Why would my idle stabilize with the test port bridged? What dose it bypass?
