Newbie tire and rims

I'm a new owner of an '83 944. When I removed the wheels I found:

Front: 6Jx16 205/55VR/16
Rear: 7Jx16 245/50VR/16

The rims had 911 markings. The stock specs (from the Mitchell data Base) don't mention a

CON'T... the stock specs didn't mention a 6J rim. I'm curious as the car needs new shoes.

I did a search of 944 and 911 archives before posting.
