3.0l & 915 transplant into Carrera
How difficult would it be to transplant a 3.0 & 915 tranny into a 1987 carrera roller?

Why? ....I have the rebuilt engine engine and trans sitting on the shop floor and no SC to put it in..... Have access to a nice carrera roller cheap. Why not??......1+1=2.

You may encounter some issues with the trans mounts, but I'm not 100% sure. I just know that the trans mount cross bar is different on the G50. You will also need to back date to a non-hydraulic clutch setup and a 915 shift setup (shifter, shift rod, and coupler), requiring a new pedal cluster and clutch cable setup. There may also be a few other wiring issues.
