Coupe vs. targa roll bar
I bought a roll bar from a member here on the list. I was told it was for a coupe and it turns out to be one for a targa. In doing some research, the only company that seems to differentiate between targas and coupes is Safety Devices (the type I bought). Aside from the obvious roof differences are the coupes and targas that different dimensionaly? The bar needs to have some mounting tabs welded onto the longitudinal members for the front feet and looks to need the same for the rear legs. From the Stable Energies website it looks like the rear legs on a coupe specific bar use through bolts into the inner fender wells. The targa looks to need mounting plates welded on the back somewhere. Does anyone have any pictures of a Safety Devices bar bounted in a targa? Are the inner fenders different on a coupe and a targa? I think the rear seats are the same for both? Am I going way too far down the wrong road? Thanks for your thoughts.
Joe

Thanks TD. This board is amazing. Now to figure out if the wheel well dimensions and roof width's are the same. I wonder if Safety Devices moved the mounts for any particular reason?
