Gas tank R&R

Hey guys, I posted this originally on the CA forum, but there's no traffic there. I've got the gas tank out of my T and looking to have it R&R'd. It's been sitting with gas in it for who knows how long. Looking to get it cleaned and coated or whatever they do. Does anyone have a recommendation of a shop in the Sacramento area?

Thanks in advance.

I've had steel tanks done by radiator shops on a regular basis; I'd start there ... though a f/g tank is a somewhat different animal.

Since you're in the Sacramento area, I'd call Jimmy Deering and ask him for a referral.

That's a good idea. I'll at least call a couple radiator shops and see if they have recommendations.

I did mine myself. Got a kit from the POR 15 guys and it was not too hard. I really like how it turned out.

Just another thought.
