Where did you get this part no. from?
I think you'll find that part numbers for 911/912 horns all begin with either 901 635
or 911 635

It came right off the part.. These are the ones made out of Mg.

I may have been using technicaly the wrong name. How about air stacks. I am trying to determine if these are E, S or T. If any one has a parts catalogue for the MFI years could you look it up please?

My 1971 book shows 2 part #'s 911.110.322.03 in German it reads Einlauftrichter 42 in English it reads Socket the other part# is 911.110.322.02 sameGerman word but 38 after the word not 42 and in English it just says Socket. Must be for E and S, E being smaller than the S.

it's definately a 901 part number. Does this imply an early 911? Any one have an earlier reference?

Early_S_Man 11-19-2000 10:51 PM

Yes, an earlier, '69-'71 set of stacks ... I noticed them when you posted the pic a while back ... zinc castings instead of plastic on the '72 and later MFI systems. All of the early MFI documentation in Vol. 1 & 2 of the service manuals look just like yours!

I'm trying to determine what model these belong to. I've heard that the "T"'s won't fit on "S" throttles, the bolt pattern is different. I don't care about the bore size as I will be doing machine work any way./ I want to take a spare set and try to make them look like RSR high butterfly and exporement with placing the injectors in the stacks or even at the top maybe. But I need to know if these are an "E" or "S" so I know they will fit on my throttles.

Hey Warren I was in hopes you could look up this part number to determine what model they belong to.

If memory serves, the numbers on the castings are "casting numbers" and do not bear any relation to "part numbers".

Hey mackgoo, I called a buddy at a dealership and the only old number was the one I gave you. If you want to find more then it's wrecking yard time. He said theree were none in his system meaning Reno/Atlanta parts warehouses.
