hi
good morning
I was informed to post a pic of my first p car which I purchased a few months ago. As a DIY'er I have tinkered with a few bimmers and a mini cooper lately. excited to have found the lure of the air cooled six. first got to fix the electrical short. have a great weekend

you are right on. It is a three owner 1980sc with 98000 miles. Turbo tie rods, new ac system, carrera tensioners, pop-off valve. most records, great rust free AZ car now living in Denver.
horrible electrical gremlin just surfaced. I tried the putting a test light on the negative post and pulling fuses to determine the drain. The light dimmed when i pulled the interior light fuse out but did not go away completely. With that fuse there was a 11volt drain and without that particular fuse it went down to 5.6volt. any ideas? |
