930 Window Seal - Question about Pelican Product
 

I 'm about to purchase a window seal from Pelican Parts for my '86 930. The part states "w/groove for trim frame" on the product description.

I am not sure what this means and if this product will fit my car correctly.

A picture of the bare window frame of my car would make it clear or if someone could tell me if this part is the right part for my car.

It means that the seal has a groove in it, so you can install the aluminum trim which came on all pre 89 911/930's You will see the trim "on top" of the seal on both the front and rear windows.

Or you can get the 964 seal that doesn't have the trim piece but you have to buy the 964 glass.
