The Ultimate!
I just had the fortune to drive a new 911 turbo with only 900 miles on the clock
![]() The car which most of us only ever imagine driving, handles like a dream, perhaps to perfect?. In 1st and 2nd gear, it is as docile as a japanese hatchback. But when you open up and let her stretch her legs she grips your body with that soft leather as you get forced back into the seats. 3rd and 4th gear dissapear as fast as my 1st and 2nd, and by the time you start breathing again you are in 5th. Whats this ![]() As the car touched a speed that I would never admit to ![]() Having said that, It did not feel like the porsche I know and love (86 Carrera). It did not demand the same technique and skills to drive and for me would not be the reason why I always wanted to own a porsche. Having said that, I would not turn one down if someone wanted to swap it for mine (which is currently broken down awaiting to be fixed or towed ![]() Handing the keys back to the very trusting owner I honestly feel it is not for me. But a ![]() |

I envy you. I'd like to have a similar experience in a turbo! I haven't driven really anything but my 84 for a couple of years now(except for a honda backup).
