Repainting fuchs/rock chips

Last question before I go to bed...hehe

At some point, I need to repaint my fuchs. They are black right now (not sure if that's original or not) but it's starting to chip off and I have no idea how to repaint them or what to use. Would it be better since I'm a complete novice to take them somewhere to be done professionally?

This doesn't have to be done right now, but at some point in the near future...damn I need to make a list of all the improvements I want to make on this car...when I know I need to just shut up and drive it...

Second question: There are numerous rock chips on the front bumper and hood of the car. I've seen a can of black 'import touch-up paint' in the glove box but don't know if I should attempt to use that or something else. What do you all suggest?

You can repaint your centers with Wurth Satin Black..will look good as new. As far as the front of your car check this out:

http://drcolorchip.com/ I've seen the results; pretty impressive. In either case, take your time and do it right.

Oops, don't know what happened there, lol. Anyway, here are before and after pics. Wasnt' to hard doing either, a little paint, sandpaper, and about 200lbs. of elbow grease. Obviously if you have the coin to have them professionally done that would be awesome, but at the same time there is a certain amount of pride, (isn't pride a no no?), in looking at them knowing it's all your work. If you decide to do them yourself I can send an email with the processes used for doing both. But also there are a lot of threads that you can do a search on.
As far as the stone chips mine also has them. Again there is a thread just posted recently detailing using touch-up paint with a pencil. I'm going to try that myself.
Good luck!!
