'81 SC Seat lever

The lever in my drivers seat broke. Anyone know how it goes back together? I can see the end of the cable near the wheel at the bottom of the seat and it has what looks to be a crimp on the end.

ah. . .for the fold-fwd.

If I recall correctly, the crimped end is a 'jogged' end, which goes thru a hole on the latch. (down at the pivot point . ..one cable each side)

Lifting just the latch, there should be enough slack in the cable to feed it back thru it's hole.

There is a little cable end that goes on there..it is a real pain to get it on and keep it on. In fact that reminds me that I need touse the existing cable to pull a new cable (I am going to get some good coated cable from an aircraft guy and rework the whole thing. I think it is much easier if you pull the seat out to do this
