69E Engine Relay Panel Photos Please
I have a 69E that I am tidying up the wiring in the engine compartment. It does not have the plastic cover that my 71 has and I wanted to install one to protect all the relays and fuse block on the panel. As I started looking closer, I noticed that the panel and chassis does not have provisions to mount the cover.
I am inclined to think that the 69 did not have a cover for that panel - is that correct? I cannot imagine that Porsche would leave those open to the environment, but I am not expert on this. ![]() Thanks for the help. ![]()

My 1969 911E has two little covers. It is the fuse box at the front near the car battery, right. Each cover covers one-half of the fuse box. There is a screw in the center of each cover.

Bob,
Thanks for that clarification - it is kind of what I figured. SP2, Yes, the fuse boxes have two phonolic (or plastic) covers in the trunk. I am refering to the relay panel/shelf in the engine compartment. Does anyone have any photos that they would like to share with me? Here are a couple of my 911 engine compartment. Sorry, but they are not the best. ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() This is mine, looks similar to yours. I believe Haynes p. 206 top has what they call a "typical" illustration, but the illustration may not be exactly like our 69E.
