Conversion - MFI to Webers, '72 T

I have searched around some and found quite a bit on general pros and cons, but has anyone done a simple writeup on what is needed? I am doing a modest upgrade on a 7R 2.4 motor (9.5 pistons, E cams, mild port). I have the carbs and manifolds and the linkage between the carbs, and a set of heads with the injector holes plugged. Maybe this belongs in the engine forum, but I thought I'd start here.

So far my questions are:

1. Will the throttle linkage need to be modified?

2. Can I just get a fuel pressure regulator, or is a new pump needed? If so, what works best?

3. Anything else I need to know?

Thanks.

I did this on my car. The linkage worked fine. I used my old fuel pump and filter console. I just put a "T" fitting on the loop that goes to the injection pump and connected the new line from the "T" fitting to a pressure regulator. The regulated fuel then goes to the carbs. I bought a holley pressure regulator that has one input and two outputs...perfect for the two carbs. There are many ways to handle the fuel thing but this was the easiest.

I use a carter fuel pump in the stock location and a distributor block with gauge to feed the carbs. cheapie fuel pressure regulator on the fuel return line. fuel filters on each line running to the carbs. the ports facing out go to the carbs. bottom hose is the supply from the pump. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170491968.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170492002.jpg
