Porsche guys raising money for ill children

I was the crew chief last for the Team Seattle car number 82 (997 GT3 Cup) at the recent Daytona 24. These guys are all Porsche nuts who raise money per lap via pledges. 100% of the money goes to the Children's hospital in Seattle. This hospital provides free care to sick children. Our effort raised $470,000 this year. Remarkable effort, but I'd like to see it pass the $500,000 mark. That means that we need $30,000 more. I've volunteered to do some fundraising for the team for the race in 2008. It would be nice to work in a Pelican group participating some way during the 24 race weekend. You'll be hearing more from me on this. Thanks for keep up the reminders. I've been an annual participant but for some reason kept putting it off this year. I'm going to the site right now before I forget again.

Also, please post info on the 2008 fund raising. I'm in the Seattle are and will help if I can. I know two families that have have been helped by childrens hospital. They do a great job.
