One Piece Fiberglass Top
I saw the add in Excellence for a one piece Fiberglass top from Sundial Enterpirses and just received their information with the introductory price of $299.00.
Has anyone purchased this top? Sounds to good to be true. Appreciate any information. TIA 83 911SC Targa ------------------ |

Hmmmm... I know the factory offered a "Saratoga top" at some point. This was a one piece, fiberglass top. I'm not sure if what you're talkin' about is the same thing or not.
If it fit well and looked OK then hell, for $300 bucks you could let the $1000 folding top stay in the garage to avoid weathering. Fit and finish would be my biggest concern. BTW...a factory targa top latch can cost over $200 dollars so I'm wondering how it is that they sell an entire top fot $300. ------------------ Leland Pate ___79 SC Targa |

The add read:

Red, Ask 'em if it comes with the req'd latches, rear pins and weatherstripping.
It does sound too good to be true... |

I got the same information from them as well and as was told that the current production was sold out and that I would be contacted in the future when they had more tops available.
It took a while (almost a week) to get information from them and calling the phone number goes to a voice mailbox so I do not have a real warm and fuzzy one on this. I asked for inside and outside pics and descriptions of the latches. Received a one page info sheet with a side pic and nothing else but written description. No latch info. Emailed them back asking for latch pics and no word yet. Would as well like to have more info, especially if someone else had purchased from them. The product looks nice, the price is good but still want more info before spending my bux. JoeA |
