Thank you

Just wanted to say thanks to all who participate in this forum. There is no way to put a $ value on all the knowledge and experience available here to owners of these wonderful cars.

I purchased my 1984 ruby red Carrera coupe about a two months ago and began searching the internet for some information on the car. When I stumbled upon the Pelican Parts site I was immediately hooked on the tech forums. With your help I have been able to diagnose a cryptic dash light problem (speedo light bulbs were in the wrong sockets so the parking light was always on) and a failing alternator (headlights were pulsing bright and dim).

I have been wanting to post pictures of the car and introduce myself, but could not get photos to download properly until I found the solution in another thread on the forum.

So, after some delay I say thanks to all and here are a few pictures of my ride.

Gerry

Beautiful! Now we just need to find you a Carrera tail so people don't mistake your car for a Sorta-Carrera.

That wine tray on the back would be handy for wine tasting days out.

Welcome ,and you are so right. I am into my P-car only a year and it's been fantastic. I've done projects that I NEVER would have attempted without the knowledge and help from this community. Heck, maybe oneday I'll consider myself a DIY
And of course everyone knows a 'whaletail' is the best
Best of luck with your beautiful car.
