how do i post a picture on the site... Thank you

could someone tell me how to post a picture on the message board. Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I believe you must have the pictures placed on a personal web site and then you would provide a link to them in your posting here. You can browse some of the other postings and see how they did it.

Put at www.photopoint.com .
Then figure out the adress that the pictures are at at photopoint. Then you typ in a post, [img]put the adress here then type[/img]. When ever anyone opens the post your picture will come up.

Go back to a thread that has a picture posted and click on the "edit" icon. The layout of the computer gibberish will be revealed. Write it down and reproduce it using your picture and photopoint.

Here's a simple lesson, that uses the capital period and comma keys, not the brackets. Youput the picture on a free server (whether it's photopoint, or Rennlist, or whatever) and get the address of the image. Something like htĘp://www.server.com/user/porsche.jpg and then you enter it after the following text (except thay you substitute a < for the quote sign:

"IMG*SRC=

and then you fill the address in...

and then, without spaces before or after the address, you end with a >.

I'll do it with a picture I just posted elsewhere, which is physically located at htĘp://members.rennlist.com/jackolsen/DucksAss.jpg.



That's all there is to it.

Not sure how UBB handles this, but normally you put the tag value (the URL of your picture) in quotes, after the src= property.
