My 2-wheeled 911
Now that I can post pictures, here are some shots of what I used for my speed fix before getting the 911. The Porsche is better for taking the wife and kids along, too.

Nice bike! On the Porsche versus Motorcycle thing, I'd prefer a Ducati 996 over a Porsche 996 anyday. (Can you say "used bar of soap with wheels")?

I rode a motorcycle for some time in another stage of my life. they certainly are much quicker than cars. In crossing main street (two driving lanes and two parking lanes) my friend on his Ninja is done with first gear at the opposite crosswalk. I think that means 50 or 60 mph!
Oh, and there's nothing more exciting than getting too deep in a right twisty, drifting to the outside and noticing there is oncoming traffic. Nothing like it. ------------------ '83 SC |
