floorboards and carpet

I just installed new rennline floorboards, and I hate to cover them up, does anyone have a good solution to leaving the floorboards visible but still having some type of carpet/floor mat?

Thanks

Cool. I like those as well but hate the thought of covering them up.

My first thought is to just cut the factory carpet right at the edge of the Rennline pieces.

I did a quick seach of this forum and found some pics for you.

Is there like a shorty floor matt that doesn't slide around?

Both of the front carpets are easy to reproduce by any upholstery shop. Or you can cut down your existing carpet and have them bounded. I guess I would have new ones made so if you don't like the look later you can always go back to stock. The drivers side has a plastic shield that goes over the DME under the seat, but you could duplicate that with a piece of plastic or fiber board.
