Just about finished I think with all my fiberglas pieces. I have decided against using an epoxy/adhesive to put on my rocker panels tho.
The way they tuck under the car it will make getting to a few parts impossible, without removing the panel. So I have it bolted with 5 small bolts from the door to the back fender. and two bolts at the front fender. I want to put in a few screws under the door but was unsure if there was anything running through there that i may damage. The ideal placement would be to run 5 bolts/screws about 1/2 inch under the door opening to flush that up to the body better. Also I plan on buying some steel mesh to affix to the inside of the wheel wells where the rocker panel now sits. This way it will prevent road junk like rocks and gravel mud and snow from getting into the rocker panel and possibly damaging it. So I wanted to drill a few screws into the insides of the fender well and was unsure if there was anything inside on the inside of the well? |

Sorry I cannot advise, but you might do a search on "kidney bowl" and find some pics revealing the area in question. I am about to do some rear quarters in f/g and wanted to ask you some questions myself as I am unable to find anything through the search function to show how to remove the origional quarter and lock post. If you will, show some pics of your project...thanks....Garry

I'd advise you to be careful when drilling. You don't want to hit any oil lines.
