Interior carpet codes

Does anyone know how i can find out what colour interior carpet my car has? On the sticker for the interior code it only says VF and i know my interior is blue leather.
I want to find out what colour blue my leather is and what my carpet is, ie cobalt blue, marine blue, etc????

It would help if you would tell us WHAT YEAR your car might be! We're not psychic, you know. Although some of us might be considered psychotic, by others.

Porsche used a two-letter (sometimes alpha, sometimes numeric, sometimes alpha-numeric, depending upon the year) code to designate their interiors. This code was not a just color code, but specific to a color and a type of interior fabric. In other words, for a Cobalt Blue interior color, there would have been a series of many different two letter codes that determined whether the car had leatherette upholstery, or partial leather, of full leather, or leather with a letherette beltline, etc. There was a unique code for each combination of color and fabric.

This information was contained in a book that the dealers had, that listed all of the various permutations and what they meant. Some of this information has been duplicated in books written about Porsche. I don't have anything handy that lists this information for cars after the 1989 model year, so I can't look it up for you. Adrian Streather wrote a book on the 964 series cars; I just can't remember if this information was listed in his book, or not. My copy is 10 miles away, at my warehouse. A dealer parts guy might be able to help, if he's good at his job.

I'd be willing to bet that yours is Cobalt Blue.
