Is this a Targa or Coupe?

(Targas leak a lot anyway, but...) both of these leaks could possibly be from bad window seals --- front and rear (no matter whether Targa or Coupe)

sunroof? Sounds like the drain tubes are clogged or rusted.

Probably a little of both. Best way to find leaks is to run a hose over the whole car and watch the water dribble in at various points. I was able to diagnose quite a few leaky seals this way. It can get tricky, you'll need time and patience.

Could you rephrase the "...car two gasolin station..." , I don't quite follow what you are trying to say.

Meantime, hang in there, all used cars (including Porsches) are gonna have some quirks --- yours sounds pretty good so far... I (and others here) could tell you some real horror stories --- and we secretly loved every minute of ferreting out and solving the problems. That's the fun of buying one and then making it perfect --- and that's what us nuts here on the Pelican BB are really here for!

Ooops, I just got it... you took it to a Gasoline station and had them try to fix it. I think you'll need a body repair shop to handle it if it turns out that these are leaking windows or a sunroof. The windows have to be removed to put new seals in. New windows require more than one person working simultaneously and you'll probably crack it on both removal and re-install (possibly several times) if you have never done this before --- a very expensive proposition --- especially when the seal is going to be fairly expensive too. A sunroof (if you have one) will also require someone with some body disassesmbly skill unless you want to tackle it --- but count on replacing all the seals when you dig in there as you may rip a few things including the headliner (if you've never done this before, either).)

The following reason :
1 leaking from the maybe the sunroof (the sun roof is a little crashed in one of the corner
2 the door inside (the skin) is deformed
3 its not the original paint
4 looks like they tried to fix the car many places with sparcel
5 in my contract they put in NO GARANTIE ON THE COSMETIC

PS!! bought it for 143.000 NOK
(Norwegian Kroner)

Yep, sounds like bad glass weatherstripping, all right. When I started taking out the interior of my 912 to begin it's restoration, I found that leaking rubber seals around the windows had allowed water to get inside and pool in all the low spots in the floorpan-very messy. I learned how to weld just replacing all the rusty sheetmetal-under the pedal box, rear seat depressions, rear wall under the window, etc, etc. Luckily I was able to remove all the glass by just slicing through the rubber all around the perimeter and GENTLY pulling the glass away from the body-I was sweating bullets the whole time, though.

Sounds like you're gonna need to have it checked out by a good body shop you trust. After they give you the verdict you may have no recourse with the previous owner. Sigh, such are the breaks of life. Bummer! Good luck!

Could it be that my car had a bad accident/ crash ?
Is my car worth the price or should I try to reset the contract?

I had my car to a Norwegian automibil forbund
, its a membership for a normal caruser, where they check everything with your car..
they told me like:
thick paint, "can" be to hide rust

Its been imorted from Germany 2 years ago, its a lot of money for me , but I love the car. The person who looked at my leak, told me that he thinks its a car who has been crashed, and told me that I should return it( but I don`t want , Love the Porsche

Anything's possible. Could be someone dropped something on the roof (garage door?) and got a cheezy fix. Impossible to tell by e-talk. Give it a magnet test all over and then, depending on how that goes, you might want to get it to a good (trusted) body shop for evaluation.

I had a similar problem and it was a sunroof coupe that I experienced it in. As it turned out, I had a bad windshield seal and the left drain for the sunroof was badly clogged and it leaked into the back seat from the rear part of the sunroof. If the car started to move, everything was fine, but when I stopped, I would get a lapfull of water.

Hope this helps.

My 911 leaks in the backseat from two places. the first is the window seal itself it is old and dried out and the second is from the sunroof drain it is pluged and it leaks out the rubber pipe that is supposed to evacuate the water out to the rear window area.

Take an airhose with a blower nozzle and blow out the drain tube from the bottom (deck lid). Make sure the sunroof is open when you do this and clean up the mess. If you want to test before using the airhose, open the sunroof and pour a small amount of water down the side of the sunroof, look to see that it drains down the body near the rear deck lid. If it is not draining, it overflows into the headliner, runs down the back and floods the rear seat, floor pan and will fill up to the front as well.

Good luck

My 77 Targa also fills the rear passenger floor panel when it rains. The water runs from over the right side kick panel. I haven't found the cause yet, but I'm guessing it will be window seals or plugged door drains (or both).

The hose sounds like a good idea to isolate where the water is entering at if you can keep a flow on a specific area at a time--and then have the patience to wait and see if the water drains in. If your too fast in your search, you may be mislead into fixing something that is not broke!

Good luck to us all!!

If your car has had its windows taken out at some time that might be the reason for water coming in to the rear seat. If the person who took out the windows wasn't really aware of what he was doing he might have done a bad job. Maybe the rubber lists around the window aren't fitted correctly...? I had my windows taken out when my car was resprayed and the rubber lists were reused when reassembling the car. This has worked fine, but it was done by an experienced Porsche mechanic who spent a lot of time to make it seem like new.

Don't loose your enthusiasm for Porsche. It's always worst when you just bought the car because there are many little things that probably need fixing. If you suspect that your car has been crashed at some time you might want to check it yourself. Look at the gaps in the bodywork. Check out the sealings/connections and look for repair work or paint overspray jobs. If your car has had a frontal crash it will most likely be visible in the luggage compartment floor. The floor will then be uneven. The lid for the "smuggler room" must be able to open/close easily without binding.

Maybe you could post a picture of your car?
