Separate Categories for 911's?

I am new but already a dedicated reader/contributor. My biggest complaint though is having to go through items of interest only to certain groups. I.E., I have a '66 and '68 911 but go through maybe 30 items regarding SC's, 993's, etc. to find something about an early car. Others who have no interest in early cars have to do the same. Couldn't this thing be broken up into a more manageable system?
Does anyone agree?

This gets brought up every now and then, and the majority votes to keep things as they are.

you could go to the early 911 registry. won't be as much clutter from later models there.
i think you get a more well rounded sample here though. what will it hurt you to do a little of your own weeding.
to paraphrase chance, "it is good in the garden."
there is a lot more here to read about.

http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/index.php works great for early car specifics.

There is a 964/993/996 board here and another more active one on Rennlist. Personally, I think the 65-89 911's are similar enough that it's worthwhile to know as much as you can about them all.

I say keep it the way it is. Bear in mind that there is a tremendous amount in common between the 65 and 89 models. The 964 was the "big" change.
