stalls after oil change?
hi, last night i had to dump some oil in my 911 because i had over filled it, so i disconnected the oil hose and drain the oil and re-filled it with the right amount but it created a big mess because oil went onto the the heater box so i used a degreaser and then washed it off, now the car will not start because the there is little or no battery power so i jumped it and it stared up but after 6 min the car stalls and won't start because the battery is for some strange reason not charging which was not a problem before there is a lot of smoke inside and outside what have i done???

I'm not sure why your battery is dead, but the reason your car is not running might be because the oil has been sucked into your CIS system. You may have to clean up the sensor plate and the throttle body, and also the aux air valve.
First check to see if there's much oil in the air box. ------------------ Bill Krause '79 911SC Euro |
