High Temp Clear Coat on muffler

I am having my stainless steel muffler bead blasted. Instead of painting it, I thought it might look good with a High Temp clear coat. I see one - VHT - that is good to 1500 degrees F.

Has anyone tried this? Do you think it will hold up? Any opinions on the look?

Depends on what type of "stainless" it is. Coating it might be a good idea.

Get it JetHot coated, that will protect it and not come off.
