Car cover?

My 83 sc coupe is in the paint shop for a respray. (Ruby Red). I live in So. Cal. and have to park outside. Is it better to cover or just keep a good wax job?

The wax will not protect the interior. I keep 2 of my cars in a garage under covers, just so they are clean when I get them out. The only thing about the covers are the car needs to be clean each time you put them on, so that may be a pain to do each day. Congrats on the new paint.

I use one in my not-fully-enclosed garage. I make sure to dust the car off before I put the cover on. Cover does not get set on the ground. I only throw it into the other car or put it inside. BTW, stray cats will mark it (cover) as their own. Their spray stinks! I have to wash mine now. Argh!
