Works great when blended with the right stuff, it's basically an oxygen inhibitor. It is very detectable, we used distilled water to test for it. Be very careful handling it, it doesn't like to be extinguished.

If you've got to cheat, why bother racing in a restricted class? Just enter your car in some sort of "unrestricted class" and spend yourself to oblivian.

Besides at the club level, in most cases the driver is at least 75% of the car's performance, while the car itself is maybe 25%. So I'd put my money on a fast driver in a slow car any day. If that's the case, why bother spending the money on stuff like that, just straighten out the nut behind the wheel!

This stuff is a serious health hazard as both a skin absorbing toxin and an inhalant toxin before its combusted and even after its combusted. It's fatal and is banned in every form of competition. So stay away from that stuff. As a matter of fact if you know someone who has some, be sure it's in a SERIOUS container as it is quite literally poison and has a ridiculously high boiling point so that stuff is not going anywhere. If you buy some and don't use it, you'll own it for the next thousand years.

Propylene oxide is used as an accelerator so it allows more complete combustion, you will pick up an increase in power (albeit minor) but it won't be a world of difference. It isnt worth the health risks.

I thought this sounded familiar.
It used as a fuel-air explosive and is highly carcinogenic.

Used a gallon or two of it when I drag raced.
Had a half empty gallon in the garage for a couple months.
That can was always popping, all the expanding and contracting ripped an opening into the can.

The VP fuel guy I bought it from had a bad story.
Seems he buys it by the drum and stores it with his other products in an old semi trailer behind his house.

One day the PO drum was plumped up so he thought he should vent the pressure off. He slowly unscrewed the cap on the drum to let the air bleed off. But instead the pressure blew the cap off and the PO came out like a geyser, soaking him in PO.
He ran out of the trailer into the house to try and clean it off.

I guess when it hits your skin it goes right into your blood stream.
