Hand Cleaner.....

I keep two around....

The sweet smelling yet gritty GoJo in a squeze bottle and the traditional tub of white GoJo cream style.....

I think I prefer the highly refined smell of petroleum distillates in the tub over the mildly citric odor of the squeeze bottle....

How about you.....

+1 on the Nitrile Gloves, unless I'm unscrewing a tiny nut, then I take the gloves off for a better feel. I use the orange stuff too.

After I crawl out from under the car, I just lick my hands clean before going in the house.

Have you guys tried any of the rub on hand sealer products? I picked up some stuff at Costco a few months ago and it works great. I normally use it in conjunction with latex gloves but my hands stay much much more clean.

I will post the name of the stuff this weekend, I can't remember it off hand.

+3 on the nitril gloves. If I get grease on my hands I just wait til I wash my hair to get it off.

I'm a bodyman, and use a barrier cream called pr88. white cream you rub into your hands first. dirt/oil/grease/etc. wash off with soap and water. also a great moisturizer ( that last more for the benefit of my wife, I have sandpaper hands). Don.

what not to use

A little while back, Homo Depot was having a clearance sale on cans of WD40 strapped to some Lava Soap Brand hand cleaner. The stuff is absolutely worthless. No wonder they were clearing it out. BTW, I know there will be admonishons about safety, but diesel fuel as a precleaner of hands works great.
