Price of 9 x 16 Fuchs?
I was thinking of getting some 9 x 16 Fuchs for my 85 Coupe. Mostly street use, the odd DE day. More to fill out the wheel wells than anything else. Can anyone give me an idea what expect to pay for a good set? I am still struggling with tire choices.
Thanks, Lawrence

Take out a mortgage first.
New they go for around $ 1600 for a pair. Used are probably closer to $ 1,000 for a pair...if you can find a set. And if you do, you'll have to fight 15 other people on the board to get them. There are two new sets on ebay right now.

Around $1200-$1500 a pair for nice used ones.
245/45-16 seems to fit nicely.

What about those 9's performance products was advertising in pano. I realized they are cast but it is a low pressure cast. They might be worth a try:

I think they are fine for the street if you want the look of the 9's. Don't use them on the track though.

Buying a set of 7 & 9 x 16 Fuchs from Jason was money well spent on my '73.

You bought a Porsche, don't FIU by putting aftermarket (make believe Fuchs) wheels on it, everyone will know and you won't really be happy until you get the real thing. Wait until you get the cash and and then enjoy showing your car. You will be happier in the long run.
I really don't like many of the aftermarket wheels on a 911 other than the expensive (like Fikse) |

If you want 9s, I would just buy a new pair. I think the extra couple hundred dollars for new wheels is money well spent. I'm surprised used 9s have held their value so well compared to the price of new wheels.

I got mine directly from Porsche. I ordered from a Porsche dealer.
They were a better deal than Wheel Enancement was. Porsche can run an inventory query for you and tell you how many are in the warehouse.

One good reason to stay away from the Fake Fuchs:
I saved this pic a while ago to show to anybody thinking of running fakes. I can't remember whose wheel it was, but don't sue for copyright please///
