Tampa Bay Get together - 1/20 Saturday - new location

Apparently the du Pont registry has been hosting an exotic car get together close to us, 3rd Saturday Morning of every month.

Ulmerton Rd & Egret Blvd

Starbucks Coffee
2577 Ulmerton Rd
St Petersburg, Florida 33762
727-540-9177

Last month they apparently had Tiger Woods Carrera GT on display. They also tend to draw a few F-cars and vettes…

Anybody want to crash the party September 16th - 7:00 to 9:00

It's early - but you are left with the rest of the day too.

edit...Changed the date... again

Will your car be out of the shop long enough? I heard Dave put a mechanics lien on it...

If it weren't for the registry thing I would suggest this Sunday for coffee...I mean it is 9/11.

Unhappy

I would be there, but car is "in the shop". Needed brake pads, which begat rotors, which begat caliper rebuild, which begat s.s. brake hoses, well, you get the idea!) but it didn't stop there! Here's where I'm at now: and our host has no panels, Restoration Design won't answer their phone or return messages. Might drive up in the F250.

Jeremy:
As always, battery acid and water. Must have been some time ago, the battery that came with the car was only 1 mo. old and dry as a bone when I got the car. I suspect there was a minor front end collision at some time in it's past (as evidenced by some body work at the front, and hood paint that has a different spray pattern than the rest of the car) and the battery could have been damaged and leaked . It's old damage. The good news is as bad as the tank was rusted at the seam, I was able to salvage it with my trusty little sand blaster!!

Hey! if you want to see one, Sarasota Vintage Auto has one (Beck 904) in their showroom which is now located on the south side of the classic car museum on 41 just past the airport. Hmmm, Think I'll see if they're open tomorrow!
